Youth killed, three injured as speeding car rams into stationary truck on Ahmedabad-Indore Highway

A speeding car travelling from Indore to Ahmedabad rammed into a stationary truck near Chandiyal village in Kanbha on the Ahmedabad-Indore Highway, killing a youth seated in the rear and injuring three others. The group of friends was en route to Ahmedabad to attend the inauguration of an ice-cream parlour.
According to police, the accident occurred in the afternoon hours when Pushpak Yadav, who was driving the vehicle, allegedly lost control and crashed the car into the rear of a parked truck. CCTV footage of the incident shows the car hitting a motorcyclist moments before colliding with the truck.
The deceased has been identified as Rajju Goud, who was seated in the backseat. Three others -- Ajay Rajput, Rahul Rajput, and Pushpak Yadav -- sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Pushpak, the driver, is said to be in a critical condition and remains unconscious.
Police said the group of four friends had left Indore in the early hours of the day. Ajay Rajput, a resident of Madhya Pradesh, earns a living through private employment. The group was heading to Ahmedabad for the opening of Pushpak Yadav’s new ice-cream shop in the Satellite area of the city.
Local residents helped extricate the injured from the mangled car. The Kanbha police have registered a case against the driver, Pushpak Yadav, and launched further investigation.
CCTV visuals of the crash are being examined as part of the probe.
