A young man was killed and two vehicles were severely damaged in a high-speed collision on the Baroda-Ahmedabad Express Highway near the Ramol Ring Road bridge on Thursday early morning. The driver of the Bolero SUV responsible for the crash allegedly fled the scene after the incident.

The complaint was lodged by S Muneswaran(26), a truck driver from Tamil Nadu. He stated in his complaint that the accident occurred around 12.45 am on June 19. Muneswaran and his co-driver Mani Muthu were en route from Tamil Nadu to Rajasthan, operating a truck owned by MPK Transport. As they approached the Ramol exit on the express highway, a Bolero SUV rammed into the rear driver's side of their stationary truck.
