Young man dies of suspected heart attack while riding bike in Gujarat’s Salaya

A young man died after reportedly suffering a heart attack while riding a motorcycle in Salaya Panthak (village) of Devbhoomi Dwarka district in Gujarat on Thursday. 

As per the CCTV footage, the victim, Salim, had left home for work on his motorcycle, accompanied by a friend riding pillion. He stopped near the town’s old cemetery and dropped his companion before resuming his journey.

Moments later, while riding ahead, Salim is believed to have experienced severe chest pain. He lost control of the motorcycle and collapsed onto the road.

Bystanders rushed to assist him immediately and transported him in an unconscious state to a nearby hospital in a pickup vehicle. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival. Preliminary medical opinion suggests that he suffered a heart attack.

The sudden death has sent shockwaves through his family and residents of Salaya, with many expressing grief over the loss of a young earning member. 

The incident has also reignited concerns over the rising number of cardiac cases among younger individuals and the need for greater health awareness and lifestyle changes.
