Women directors in Gujarat startups double in just two years

In Gujarat, the number of women directors in startups increased twofold in just two years. The number of women-led startups in 2021 was 731, while in 2023, it rose to 1,431.
According to the data, at least one woman director is present in 2,911 companies in Maharashtra, which ranks first, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 1,780, Delhi with 1,602, and Gujarat in 5th place.
Over the past few years, especially after COVID-19, the number of women-led startups in Gujarat has seen significant growth.
