Who are the 19 new ministers in Gujarat cabinet? Know here

The Gujarat government has expanded its Council of Ministers, inducting 19 new members alongside Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi in Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s team. The reshuffle brings a mix of experienced legislators and fresh faces, with portfolios to be announced soon.

1. Jitubhai Savjibhai Vaghani

Constituency: Bhavnagar (West), Seat No. 105 (Bhavnagar city)

Born: July 28, 1970, in Vartej

Occupation: Agriculture and construction

Parliamentary career: Member of the 13th and 14th Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Served as Minister of Primary, Secondary and Adult Education, Higher and Technical Education, Science and Technology from September 16, 2021, to December 9, 2022. Currently serves as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee in the 15th Assembly since April 20, 2023.


2. Nareshbhai Maganbhai Patel

Constituency: Gandevi (ST), Seat No. 176 (Navsari district)
