Western Railway Extends Four Pairs Of Special Trains Till November 2026; Booking From September 23

Western Railway’s Ahmedabad division has extended the services of four pairs of special-fare trains till November 2026 to meet the expected increase in passenger demand during the upcoming festive season. Advance booking for these trains will open from September 23, 2026.

The extended services will cover routes connecting Bhuj and Veraval with Bandra Terminus. The trains will operate on weekly or twice-weekly schedules, depending on the service.

Four Pairs Of Trains Extended

According to Western Railway, the 09038/09037 Bhuj–Bandra Terminus–Bhuj Special will continue to operate twice a week from October 1 to November 29, 2026. A total of 18 trips have been announced under the extended schedule.

The 09010/09009 Bhuj–Bandra Terminus–Bhuj Special will run weekly from October 4 to November 30, 2026. The extended service will comprise nine trips.

The 09012/09011 Bhuj–Bandra Terminus–Bhuj Special will also operate weekly. Its extended run will be from October 6 to November 25, 2026, with a total of eight trips.

Veraval–Bandra Terminus Service Also Extended

The 09018/09017 Veraval–Bandra Terminus–Veraval Special will continue as a weekly service from October 4 to November 30, 2026. The extended schedule includes nine trips.

All four pairs of trains will continue to operate as special-fare services during the extended period.

Booking To Begin On September 23

Passengers will be able to book tickets for these special trains from September 23, 2026. Reservations can be made through all railway Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters as well as the official IRCTC website and app.

The extended services provide additional train options for passengers travelling between Kutch, Saurashtra and Mumbai during the festive period.
