Video of obscene dance on public road in Ahmedabad's Sardarnagar goes viral, police launch probe

A video purportedly showing a group of youths, including a woman, performing an obscene dance on a public road in Ahmedabad’s Sardarnagar area has gone viral on social media, prompting the police to launch an inquiry into the incident.

According to preliminary information, the video is believed to be from the Kubernagar locality of Sardarnagar. It shows several young men dancing on the road, joined by a woman who is performing suggestive moves in public view.

The video was uploaded on Instagram by a person identified as Mukesh Makwana, who had reportedly organised a birthday celebration. In the video, Makwana in gold jewellery can be seen dancing with the woman on the street during the party.

The footage shows the duo engaging in objectionable acts in public during the dance, drawing sharp criticism after it circulated widely on social media platforms.

Officials from the Sardarnagar police station said they have taken note of the video and initiated further investigation to verify the identities of those involved and the exact location where the incident took place.
