Vejalpur residents irked as water from leaking pipeline flows onto RCC road, AMC rejects digging
| ||
When Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) officials approved RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) road construction in Vejalpur, it was claimed that the road was built in a way to prevent any future digging or damage. Specific arrangements were made for water and drainage pipelines underneath.
However, for the past two months, thousands of litres of water from a leaking pipeline right in front of the AMC office in Vejalpur has been flowing onto the road every day. Since permission to dig the RCC road has not been granted, the water continues to be wasted on the road.
The RCC road was constructed on the stretch of road from the police post to the Baladev Temple in Vejalpur.
Since no permission has been granted to dig the RCC road for the repair work, the issue remains unresolved, leading to growing frustration and anger among residents.
