UPSC 2024 final results out, three Gujaratis feature in top 30

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the Civil Services Exam (CSE) final results on Tuesday.
Shakti Dubey from UP emerged as the topper from across the country.
From Gujarat, Harshita Goyal, Margi Shah, and Smit Panchal made it to the top 30. Goyal and Shah are ranked second and fourth respectively.
Applicants from Gujarat who cracked UPSC CSE 2024:

A total of 1,009 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which only 241 have qualified.
After conducting the written examination in September 2024, UPSC held interviews from January to April 2025.
The selected candidates will undergo training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration for IAS, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) for IPS, and other specialised academies for respective services.

Shakti Dubey, a native of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, who topped the UPSC CSE 2024, had been preparing for the exam since 2018. After pursuing a postgraduate in biochemistry at Banaras Hindu University, she began her UPSC preparations. She did her graduation from Allahabad University.
The marks of the candidates will be announced approximately 15 days after the result is declared. The UPSC CSE interviews continued until April 17, 2025. The interview round started on January 7, 2025. Under the UPSC CSE 2024, recruitment was conducted for 1132 posts including IAS, IPS, and IFS services.
