Unseasonal rainfall likely to hit parts of Gujarat

With the falling temperatures, some districts of Gujarat are expected to witness unseasonal light rainfall at isolated places today and on Jan 9.
The cyclonic circulation over the southeast Arabian Sea at 1.5 km above mean sea level is likely to cause unseasonal rainfall in Gujarat, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Met Centre Ahmedabad.
Light rain in some areas of Ahmedabad is very likely. The minimum temperature in Ahmedabad on Jan 9 is likely to be 16°C.
Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod, Navsari, Valsad, Daman, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli are expected to receive light showers on Jan 9.

Districts of the Saurashtra region, including Gir Somnath, Botad, Amreli, Bhavnagar, and Diu, are also likely to receive light rain.
Moreover, on Jan 10, light rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts of north Gujarat region, in Banaskantha and Sabarkantha.
