Two-wheeler sales surge in Gujarat, over 1.17 Lakh units sold in February

Gujarat recorded strong automobile sales in February, with a total of 1,73,407 vehicles sold across the state during the month. According to data, two-wheelers dominated the market, accounting for 1.17 lakh units, the highest among all vehicle categories.

On average, 6,193 vehicles were sold per day in Gujarat, including around 4,191 two-wheelers daily. In addition to two-wheelers, approximately 32,700 passenger vehicles were sold during the month.

According to information released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), vehicle sales in Gujarat have seen significant growth compared to the same period last year. In February 2025, around 84,114 two-wheelers were sold in the state, while the total vehicle sales stood at 1.26 lakh units.

This indicates a 39.53% increase in two-wheeler sales and a 37.25% rise in total vehicle sales in February 2026 compared to February 2025.

Meanwhile, across India, automobile sales also remained strong. During February, a total of 24.09 lakh vehicles were sold nationwide, including 17 lakh two-wheelers and 3.94 lakh passenger vehicles, reflecting continuous demand in the country’s automobile market.
