Two violent attacks reported in Ahmedabad, one youth killed, another critical

Two separate incidents of violent assault have been reported in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad city, leaving one youth dead and another critically injured.
In the first incident, a young man was stabbed to death late at night under the Vakil Saheb Bridge in the Bopal area. The deceased has been identified as Shiva Kalasua, a native of Rajasthan who was residing in Maninagar.
According to police, Shiva was sitting inside a bus belonging to his friend Suresh when he received a call from a man identified as Narayan alias Rajkumar, asking him to come out for a meeting. Rajkumar allegedly arrived at the spot along with two others, including Sunil Khokaria.
The trio reportedly knocked on the bus door and dragged Shiva outside. Following an argument, Sunil and his associates allegedly attacked him with sharp weapons. Shiva sustained multiple injuries and was declared dead on arrival at a hospital.
Sarkhej police have registered a case of murder against Khokaria and others and have launched an investigation. Officers are also recording Rajkumar’s statement to ascertain the motive behind the attack.
In a separate incident in the Shahpur area, a youth identified as Amar alias Sabar Datania was found critically injured outside a garage near Retiawadi.
Police said Amar had not returned home on Sunday night. His father, Gautambhai, initially believed he may have fallen asleep at the garage. However, the family was informed the following morning that he was lying outside in a severely injured condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest that unknown persons attacked Amar with a blunt object. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital and his condition is critical.
Shahpur police have registered a case of attempted murder against unidentified assailants and have begun a search operation. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being examined to identify those involved, officials said.
