Tutor assaults 14-year-old at Krishnanagar coaching centre, complaint filed

A 42-year-old trader from Naroda has lodged a police complaint against a tutor at a private coaching centre in Krishnanagar after his 14-year-old son was allegedly assaulted during class.
The FIR filed at Krishnanagar police station by Dhavalbhai Ukeshbhai Nagarjibhai states that both his sons, Rohit (14) and Rahul (14) (Name has been changed), attend tuition at Vinayak Education located on the third floor of Maruti Plaza, Krishnanagar. Their classes run from 4 to 6 pm.
On September 1, around 6 pm, Dhavalbhai said he received a call from his children’s teacher, Asmitaben, informing him that his elder son, Rohit, had been beaten up by a teacher from Patel Web Solutions, who was also present at the institute.
The father immediately rushed to the coaching centre and confronted the tutor in question. “When I called him on his mobile and asked why he had beaten my son, he became angry and began abusing me,” Dhavalbhai stated in his complaint.
Following the altercation, the complainant dialled the police control number (100) and later submitted a formal complaint. The case has been registered under Sections 115(2) and 352 of the Indian Penal Code for assault and intentional insult.
Police said statements of key witnesses, including teacher Asmitaben and family members, will be recorded. The matter will also be presented before the court under Section 174 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
Investigators added that further inquiry is underway to verify the allegations and ascertain the sequence of events.
