Truck carrying cement gutted in massive fire on Amreli-Bhavnagar State Highway

A truck carrying cement was completely gutted after it caught fire near Janbai Derdi village on the Amreli-Bhavnagar State Highway on Wednesday afternoon.

According to initial reports, the truck, which was en route to Deesa, suddenly caught fire after flames erupted from the engine compartment. The fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire vehicle in a matter of minutes.

The incident drew crowds of onlookers, but the absence of timely intervention from the fire brigade meant the vehicle was reduced to ashes before any firefighting effort could be launched. The blaze also disrupted vehicular traffic on one side of the highway for several hours.

Authorities have yet to ascertain the exact cause of the fire. No casualties were reported in the incident.
