Thomas Cook (India) Limited and SOTC Travel have announced direct charter flights to Bhutan from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru for Summer 2026, marking the second consecutive year of operations on the route.

The charter services are scheduled to operate from Bengaluru on April 24 and May 1, 8 and 15, 2026, and from Ahmedabad on May 3, 10 and 17, 2026.

The flights will provide non-stop connectivity between the two Indian cities and Bhutan, offering an alternative to existing multi-leg routes via hubs such as Delhi and Kolkata.

The companies will offer group tours across different categories, along with customised itineraries. The tour packages include visits to key destinations in Bhutan, including Paro, Punakha and Gangtey valley.

According to the companies, tour managers fluent in Kannada will accompany Bengaluru departures, while Gujarati-speaking tour managers will assist passengers from Ahmedabad. Regional cuisine options will also be available on respective departures.

Bhutan remains a popular destination among Indian travellers, known for its Himalayan landscapes, monasteries and cultural heritage.
