Transfers and promotion continues in Gujarat administrative dept, 27 promoted

The state government departments are witnessing waves of transfer orders and promotions ahead of Diwali. After a reshuffle in the revenue department, the general administrative department saw promotions and transfers.
27 employees working below the junior scale have been promoted to the senior scale and are appointed to continue to function in their existing posts as per the notification dated Nov 6.
Ahmedabad promotions
The officers who are promoted include Ahmedabad’s deputy collector (land reforms) at the collectorate, VK Patel, and deputy collector (non-agriculture) at the collectorate, DM Desai.
A total of 12 promotions are in Gandhinagar from various departments, including the Gandhinagar municipal corporation (GMC), tourism, cultural activities, forest and environment, climate change department, etc.
DM Chauhan, deputy secretary, Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) in Gandhinagar was promoted.
Prant officers of Rajkot (city-1) and Jasdan, KG Chaudhari, and RG Aal, respectively, were also promoted.
A total of nine women have been promoted by the Gujarat administrative services (GAS), including deputy collectors (land reforms), Anand, BG Vaghela, deputy collectors at the chief minister’s office, Gandhinagar, etc.
As per the notification, these officers of GAS (junior scale with level 10 pay matrix, ₹56,100-₹1,77,500) were promoted to GAS (senior scale with level 12 pay matrix,₹78,000-₹2,09,200).
Moreover, transfers were also mentioned in another notification dated Nov 6.
IAS GH Solanki, additional commissioner of state tax at Ahmedabad, was transferred and allotted the urban development and urban housing department for the post of regional commissioner of municipalities in Bhavnagar.
