Transaction worth ₹360 cr revealed of 4 companies associated with BZ Finance

The investigation by the CID Crime into the ₹6,000 crore financial scam by Bhupendrasinh Zala of BZ Finance revealed transactions worth ₹360 crore from 16 bank accounts of four companies of BZ group.

The four companies are – BZ Group's companies BZ Financial Services, BZ International Private Limited, BZ Profit Plus and BZ Multi Trade.

The transactions of from 2020 to 2024 from these companies revealed that a total of ₹360 crore was deposited in 16 bank accounts. The money was transferred to other suspicious bank accounts through hawala or other suspicious bank accounts.

The police also seized 17 properties worth ₹Rs 100 crore and different luxury cars worth ₹9 crore.

Seven agents of BZ Finance, including the main agent Mayur Darji, were arrested in this case. The main accused and alleged mastermind of the case, Bhupendrasinh Zala is still absconding.

Duping investors by promising them high returns, Zala traded in crores with money from small investors, all of it in just four years. During this time, he became a businessman with influence, and possessor of multiple assets.

Attracting thousands of small investors with the promise of massive returns on their investments, Zala used his proximity with top leaders of the BJP to build trust among people.

He even made teachers of Sabarkantha agents for his Ponzi scheme, setting up an entire network. Using this network, investors poured in crores of rupees.
