The car crashed into a tree beside the road near Dhimsakakariya village, leaving the vehicle completely mangled.
Nearby residents rushed to the spot after hearing about the crash and informed the police. With the help of locals, all five occupants trapped inside the car were pulled out and taken for treatment.
Three Die, Two Shifted To Valsad
Arjun Triyoginath Shah, 26, a resident of Siddhivinayak Apartment in Umargam’s Sundarvan area; Narendra Raghuvir Singh Rathod, 30, a resident of Shivam Vihar in Umargam; and Balaram alias Kishan Bhavarlal Meghwal, 27, a resident of Krishnanagar in Solsumbha, Umargam, died in the accident.
The other two occupants were found unconscious and were shifted to Valsad Civil Hospital in critical condition.
Police took custody of the three bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination.

According to the details, Arjun Shah and Balaram Meghwal worked as auto-rickshaw drivers, while Narendra Rathod was employed at Cleanzed Company in Umargam.
