Three heart attack deaths across Gujarat in Uttarayan days

Sudden deaths caused by heart attacks have wreaked havoc across the state in recent times. Three persons lost their lives during Uttarayan days. It is striking to note that all of them were below the age of 40. 

Law student’s death in Navsari

22-year-old, Darshil alias Dev Bhanderi, collapsed after suffering severe chest pain on Jan 15 morning while at his home. Bhanderi was then immediately rushed to a private hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

Doctors confirmed that his death was due to a heart attack.

He was a law student of Navsari Law College.

Mehul Bhanderi, the deceased’s uncle, has also filed a complaint regarding this at Jalalpore police station.

Death while watching cricket match

39-year-old, Narsinh Katara from Khatva village in Panchmahal’s Morva Hadaf taluka collapsed after feeling sudden dizziness on Jan 14.

Katara had gone to watch a local cricket match near a primary school. While watching the match, he suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed. Following this, he was rushed to a nearby government hospital, but the in-charge doctor declared him dead upon arrival.

Heart attack case in Bharuch

32-year-old Shakil Patel from Bharuch’s Jambusar lost his life after a sudden heart attack.

Patel, a resident of the city’s Jani Faliya area, worked as an auto-rickshaw driver.

He left his house on the evening of Jan 14 for some household errands but collapsed after feeling dizzy.

He was then rushed by the locals to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival by the doctor in charge.

The doctor confirmed that Patel died of a heart attack.
