In the ₹6,000 crore scam of Gujarat BJP worker Bhupendrasinh Zala, in the name of BZ Financial companies teachers were acting as ‘agents’ of the Ponzi scheme.

According to sources, teachers of Prantij, Meghraj, Bhiloda, Vijaynagar, Modasa, Bayad, Himmatnagar, Idar, and Vadali in Sabarkantha were allegedly involved with Zala. They allegedly received expensive gifts and returns from Zala.

In desperation to win hefty commissions, teachers even allegedly discussed Zala’s scheme during lectures and with other teachers.

With the revelation of the scam, many teachers in Sabarkantha have gone underground to avoid interrogation.
