Surat family of three dies by suicide, reason unknown

Three members of a family died by suicide in the Lalgate area of Surat, in Gujarat, causing shock and grief among locals.
The deceased were identified as 36-year-old Faiz Ahmed, his wife Mubina Ahmed, 32, and their son Noman. According to preliminary information, the family allegedly consumed poison at their residence in Haripura Souy Street.
Police said the family had returned from a trip to Saudi Arabia about a week before the incident. Initial inquiries indicate that Faiz Ahmed was engaged in the chemical business. However, the exact reason behind the suspected suicide has not yet been established.
Senior police officials, along with a team of officers, rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the deaths.
The incident has left the neighbourhood in mourning, with residents expressing shock over the sudden loss of the family.
