SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad delayed by 8 hours, passengers protest

Twelve flights connecting Ahmedabad were delayed by more than an hour due to bad weather conditions on Friday. Meanwhile, the SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad took off after a delay of eight hours, leading to chaos and anger among passengers.
The Mumbai–Ahmedabad SpiceJet flight was scheduled to depart at 1.55 am from Mumbai airport on October 30, but eventually took off at 9.27 am the next day.
According to sources, airline staff repeatedly informed passengers that the flight would depart ‘shortly’. However, even after several hours, there was no clear communication from the airline, causing frustration among travellers, who then staged a protest.
