Speeding car crashes into huts in Ahmedabad's Ramol, 5 injured

At least five labourers were injured on Monday night after a car rammed into a makeshift shanty near Ramol Vadu Talav in Ahmedabad, police said.

According to preliminary information, the car driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the shanty where labourers were present. The impact left five workers injured, triggering panic in the area.

All the injured were rushed to LG Hospital for treatment. Their condition was stated to be stable, officials said.

Traffic police reached the spot soon after the incident and have initiated further investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the crash and whether negligence was involved.
