Video: Six-vehicle collision at Zundal underpass, traffic restored after jam

An accident involving six vehicles occurred at the Zundal underpass in Ahmedabad on Tuesday evening briefly bringing traffic to a standstill on the busy stretch.
Police said the chain collision took place when a speeding vehicle suddenly braked, causing several cars behind it to crash into one another. The impact left multiple vehicles damaged, though no serious injuries were reported in the initial assessment.
Soon after the incident, traffic police rushed to the spot and worked to clear the road. The accident led to a heavy traffic jam in and around the underpass, affecting commuters heading towards Gandhinagar and central Ahmedabad.
Officials later confirmed that the situation was brought under control and traffic flow normalised within a short span of time.
