Six die after auto rickshaw collides with GSRTC bus in Radhanpur

A horrifying accident in Patan’s Radhanpur killed six people on the spot after their auto-rickshaw driver lost control and collided with a state transport bus on Thursday.

The accident took place on the Radhanpur-Sami highway between Gochnad and Sami village. 

Around 10.40 am, the auto-rickshaw carrying six labourers from the same community lost control and collided with the Radhanpur-Himmatnagar Express GSRTC bus .

Babubhai Vaadi

Kantaben Vaadi

Ishwarbhai Vaadi

Taraben Vaadi

Nareshbhai Vaadi

Sayraben Vaadi

According to reports, the bus driver tried to save the autorickshaw and change lane, but it was too late. 

Before the police could arrive, onlookers and people of Radhanpur tried to extract the bodies from under the bus.

Passersby and police personnel joined hands to extricate the bodies and sent them for post-mortem.
