Singer Devayat Khavad–Dhruvrajsinh Chauhan Dispute ends after months

Folk singer Devayat Khavad and Sanathal resident Dhruvrajsinh Chauhan have officially settled their long-running dispute after five months.
On Saturday, both parties ended the feud by exchanging sweets, marking a peaceful resolution.
The dispute dates back to February 20, 2025, when Khavad allegedly did not attend a dayro programme in Sanathal despite receiving payment. This led to a confrontation during which Khavad’s car was vandalised.
Subsequently, on August 12, Dhruvrajsinh Chauhan was attacked in Gir Somnath district, triggering a series of criminal cases and legal proceedings between the two groups.
In recent days, members of both families were seen together. In the presence of Bhagvatsinh Chauhan and other family elders, the two sides agreed to bury the hatchet. Photos and videos of the reconciliation have since gone viral on social media.
The conflict had led to multiple FIRs, arrests, jail terms, and bail hearings. Devayat Khavad had been booked under serious charges, including attempted murder.
