Secretary posts reshuffled in Gujarat, Avantika Singh Aulakh made Additional Principal Secretary to CM

The Gujarat Administration Department reshuffled two positions at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

The appellation of the post held by Avantika Singh Aulakh is changed from ‘Secretary to Chief Minister’ to ‘Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister’.

Moreover, Dr Vikrant Pandey, a Resident Commissioner to the Government of Gujarat, New Delhi, is transferred and appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Notably, in February 2025, Pankaj Joshi, the 1989-batch IAS officer of Gujarat-cadre, took charge as the Chief Secretary to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel as his predecessor Raj Kumar retired.
