Scorching heat to sizzle Ahmedabad for next two days
Light showers are also expected in parts of Gujarat

Ahmedabad will experience scorching heat as the temperature will cross 41°C for two days from today. On the other hand, the weather department has predicted light rain in north Gujarat, south Gujarat, and Saurashtra from Apr 11-13.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dahod on Apr 11; Bharuch, Surat, Navsari on Apr 12; and Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, and Diu on Apr 13; will have light showers.
Gujarat summers
Ahmedabad and Amreli recorded the highest temperature during the day on Apr 7 with 38.8°C.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Ahmedabad will be around 40°C till Apr 12.
According to the prediction of a private weather forecasting agency, there will be scorching heat on April 8-9 but after this the temperature will remain below 40°C till Apr 14.
Rajkot, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Dang, Surat, and Chotaudepur also recorded temperatures above 37°C on Apr 7.
