‘Determined to resign’: Ketan Inamdar
According to Inamdar, he made it clear that he will not withdraw his resignation. He had also resigned in 2020 but pulled it back after persuasion. Inamdar opined that the BJP is already strong and does not need to recruit members from other parties.
Inamdar claimed that the party workers are also upset with all the recruitment in the BJP.
CR Patil's reaction
Reacting to the resignation of the MLA, BJP state president CR Patil said, “No MLA will decide who is recruited in the party and who is not. That is for the party to decide, and only the rules of the party will be followed.”

Sarpanchs of 14 villages of Savli taluka reached Ketan Inamdar’s residence with their resignations. The president, vice president and executive chairman of Savli Taluka Panchayat also resigned.
Notably, Kuldeep Singh Raulji, who contested the assembly against Inamdar and lost, joined BJP a few days back. Raulji was made in charge of the Dabhoi constituency.
