Saved by miracle: One passenger survives Ahmedabad plane crash

While the Commissioner of Police of Ahmedabad reportedly confirmed the death 204 passengers onboard the ill-fated Ahmedabad-London Air India flight AI171 that crashed on Thursday afternoon in Meghaninagar, one person miraculously survived the crash.
Seating on seat 11A, an economy class seat in the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft was Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, as per the boarding list, who walked out of the crash with injuries after the incident. He was reportedly travelling with his brother, Ajay Kumar Ramesh, who was seating on 11J. Both of them carry a British passport.
The London-bound flight crashed soon after taking off from the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad on Thursday afternoon. The City Commissioner of Police G S Malik said that at least 204 people have been killed in the accident. The incident occurred shortly after 1:38 pm, with over 230 passengers and crew on board.
According to preliminary information, within just two minutes of take-off, the rear portion of the aircraft reportedly collided with a tree, causing it to veer off course and crash into a nearby airport structure. The impact was severe, resulting in injuries to several passengers and crew members. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to the scene.
Former CM Vijay Rupani dies
Former CM of Gujarat Vijay Rupani, who was also among the passengers, was rushed to Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad in a critical condition but succumbed to his injuries, as confirmed by MP CR Patil.
