Undeterred by the controversy, Rupala proceeded to Rajkot to continue his campaign

Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Rajkot Lok Sabha candidate Parshottam Rupala, the BJP leader has rolled out his campaigns today.
Rupala addressed the Akhil Hind Mahila Parishad self-reliant women meeting and ‘tiffin meeting’ today in Rajkot.
Rupala continued to campaign as per the BJP’s traditional ‘tiffin meeting’ where he would have lunch with the people present at the meeting.
Before commencing the campaigns in Rajkot today, Rupala visited the temple of Ashapura Mata on Palace Road. Notably, he visited the same temple where Kshatriya women representative Padminiba Vala announced her hunger strike against Rupala for his comments on Kshatriyas..
Rupala’s Lok Sabha polls associate Mohan Kundaria, MLA (Rajkot West), Darshita Shah, Gujarat MP Ram Mokariya, and other leaders were present at the tiffin meeting.
Kshatriyas continue to protest
Despite apologies and compromise meet-ups, the Kshatriya community continued to agitate against Rupala following his remarks about erstwhile rulers (Kshatriyas).
However, after returning from Delhi, undeterred by the controversy, Rupala proceeded to Rajkot to continue his campaign.
Amid the uproar, the Gujarat BJP’s organisational chief Ratnakar, Rupala, and minister of state for home, Harsh Sanghavi, held an hour-long discussion to address the fallout, party members said on Apr 4.
According to sources, BJP will not replace Rupala’s candidature in Rajkot.
