Rules for PM Modi’s roadshow in Gujarat: QR code mandatory, black attire banned

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Gujarat for the first time following Operation Sindoor, preparations are in full swing for his roadshow in Gandhinagar.
Authorities expect a massive turnout, with more than 50,000 attendees anticipated. In light of potential protests, strict entry rules have been enforced.
Entry only with QR code
According to official instructions, entry to the roadshow venues will be allowed only to those carrying a valid QR code. Without it, access to the event will be strictly denied. This digital verification system is part of enhanced security protocols.
Black attire ban
Security agencies have been placed on high alert amid fears of anti-government demonstrations. According to police instructions, any person wearing fully black outfits will be denied access to the event. This precaution follows concerns that black attire may be used as a symbol of protest.
Roadshow schedule
The roadshow is scheduled to take place from the airport in Ahmedabad to Indira Bridge. Similarly, another roadshow will be held in Gandhinagar, where approximately 50,000 people are expected to gather. In anticipation, arrangements for drinking water and food packets have been made.
Stages have been set up along the routes for traditional dances and cultural performances.
PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat following Operation Sindoor. In Bhuj, he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for 33 development projects. In Kharod (Dahod district), he will inaugurate and initiate projects worth over ₹24,000 crore across various sectors, including the railways.
On May 27, he will attend a special event at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for projects worth ₹5,539 crore.
