Road from Vadaj Junction to Ranip to remain closed for two months check diversions

As the construction of a four-lane flyover bridge and a two-lane underpass is underway at Vadaj Junction in Ahmedabad, the road from Vadaj Junction to Ranip will be closed starting October 3 for a period of two months. It might remain closed until the work at Vadaj Junction is completed.

Traffic diversion:

Traffic will be diverted from Vadaj Junction via Bhimjipura crossroads towards Ranip through Ramapir Tekra, and also from Vadaj Junction via Bhimjipura crossroads to Akhbarnagar Circle towards National Handloom Junction.

According to the Amdavad Municipal Corporation’s (AMC) Bridge Project Department, the work on the four-lane flyover bridge at Vadaj Junction had been progressing at a sluggish pace until now.

However, with the AMC’s general elections scheduled in February, orders have been given to expedite completion of the flyover project.
