Another complaint filed against Nirav Jebaliya for payment default

A case has been filed against IPS BS Jebaliya’s son Nirav Jebaliya for a due payment of ₹1.37 lakh after the fraudster stayed in Ahmedabad’s Fortune Landmark hotel for over a month without paying the complete bill.

Nirav owed the hotel a bill of ₹2.12 lakh after his stay of 33 days back in 2021 in the hotel’s room. But the fraudster had only paid ₹75,000 through his credit card and gave the assurance to pay the remaining amount. He even engaged in a verbal spat with the hotel staff after they urged him to make the complete payment and even resorted to using his father’s status.

The hotel staff then filed a complaint at the Vadaj police station after learning that a complaint was filed against Nirav at the Sola high court police station.

A car sale fraud worth ₹4 lakh that was registered at Sola high court police station has led to his arrest from Gandhidham on Sept 16.

The case against Nirav Jebaliya

Accused of several fraudulent cases spanning across the state, Nirav, a resident of Vadodara, was caught after a complaint was registered against him at the Sola high court police station. The complainant Kiran Barot works as a driver in the high court and Nirav  tempted him with a car deal and introduced him to a car dealer, Vijay Mishra.

Nirav then fled with Barot’s ₹4 lakh, which was given to him as advance money for the car deal.

Following this, a complaint was filed against Jebaliya by Barot, and Gujarat high court police came into action.

Hiding in a private Gandhidham resort

On the loose, Nirav was traced down to a private resort in Gandhidham by the police’s technical surveillance team.

With the help of the Gandhidham local crime branch (LCB), the cops nabbed Nirav on Sept 16 from the location.

Sola PI RH Solanki said, “Two cases have been filed against Nirav. He has been apprehended in the car sale fraud case right now. We will take action against him for the other cases after interrogating him.”

Nirav Jebliya’s past cases

A case was registered against Niravin Deesa, where he conned a man’s brother who had a serious offence against him filed by the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Nirav, posing as a lawyer and promising them relief from police action, scammed them of a hefty sum. He even presented a forged Gujarat high court stay order in front of them.

A case was filed against him in this instance as well, alongside multiple ones in Vadodara, Gandhinagar, and other cities in Gujarat.
