After nearly 10 days of unseasonal rain and cloudy weather across Gujarat, the skies have finally cleared, bringing much-needed relief to the people.

Meanwhile, the onset of winter chill is now being felt across the state. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature across Gujarat is expected to drop  2–3°C over the next week.

Across all regions of Gujarat, people have started experiencing a winter-like chill as evening sets in.

The sunset time is about an hour earlier compared to a month ago, causing darkness to fall by around 6 pm. The Met Department has said that the minimum temperature will gradually decline in the coming days.

Within the next six days, it could drop by up to 3°C, leading to colder weather. For the next seven days, the weather across Gujarat is expected to remain dry.

With the early signs of winter, people have begun wearing warm clothes at night. Notably, while most major cities in Gujarat still record minimum temperatures above 22°C, a few places are witnessing a dip below that mark.

In Amreli, Naliya, Mahuva, and Diu, the minimum temperatures have dropped significantly.
