Rajpipla BJP MLA’s brother accused of assaulting party leader at Kamalam

The internal conflict in the Narmada district BJP has now escalated into a police complaint. After a Mashal rally in Rajpipla, the brother of a woman MLA from Nandod allegedly assaulted the BJP Bakshipanch Morcha president at Gujarat BJP headquarters Kamalam and issued threats, sparking heated discussions across the district.
As per the complaint filed at Rajpipla police station, Dr Dhaval Patel, president of the BJP Bakshipanch Morcha in Narmada district, alleged that Dr Ravi Deshmukh, brother of MLA Dr Darshanaben Deshmukh from Nandod, attacked him and threatened not to let him live in Garudeshwar.
Dr Patel stated that on August 14, he along with district BJP vice president Jiteshbhai Tadvi had attended a Mashal rally organised by the BJP in Rajpipla. During the event, Dr Deshmukh allegedly called Jitesh, used abusive language, and threatened him over rumours about a ticket being cut.
Later that evening, when Dr Patel reached Kamalam, Dr Deshmukh allegedly assaulted him, causing injuries to his shoulder and neck.
At the time of the incident, the woman MLA and other senior leaders were also present. Following the assault, Dr Deshmukh allegedly threatened that Dr Patel would not be allowed to stay in Garudeshwar and even warned he would be killed.
