Rajkot fire tragedy: Game zone owner, last accused, arrested

Days after the Rajkot TRP Game Zone fire tragedy that killed 27 people, one of the main accused, Ashoksinh Jadeja, who was absconding so far, surrendered himself to the city police on the evening of June 13. According to the FIR, only Ashoksinh was wanted in this case.

As TRP Game Zone was set up illegally belonging to Kiritsinh and his brother Ashoksinh, both accused. Earlier, Kiritsinh had been arrested in connection with this case. After investigation and remand, he was also sent to jail.

Two separate teams were formed to catch Ashoksinh. However, he surrendered to the police and was taken to civil for medical examination. He will be presented in court along with the demand for remand today.

With this, the number of arrests in this case has gone up to 10.

Sources revealed that Ashoksinh (64) has not had a clear vision since 2021, he also cannot walk properly.

While a co-owner of the game zone, Prakash Hirani, died in the fire incident, nine of them were arrested by the police.

Earlier, Kiritsinh Jadeja, Yuvrajsinh Solanki, Nitin Lodha, Rahul Rathod, and Dhaval Thakkar had been sent to jail after the end of remand.

Moreover, the crime branch will separately file a case against town planning officer (TPO) Mansukh Sagathiya, who had prepared a fake note of minutes of meetings and asked his subordinates to sign on May 27, two days after the fire that broke out in the TRP Game Zone.
