Prime minister Narendra Modi to visit Gujarat, will inaugurate the new Rajkot Airport
Many inaugurations and foundation-laying programmes on his agenda
Prime minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on July 27. He will inaugurate the new airport in Rajkot and inaugurate the second edition of ‘Semicon India’ during his two-day visit. ‘Semicon India’ is scheduled from July 28 to 30 at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
Inauguration of Rajkot Hirasar Airport
PM Modi will visit Rajkot on July 27 to inaugurate Hirasar Airport. An official announcement has been made by the collector system and airport authority.
The International Green Field Airport at Rajkot will mean that Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Kutch, Morbi, and Rajkot residents will not have to go to Ahmedabad for international flights.
PM Modi will be joined by many leaders
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, union minister Ashwani Vaishnav, external affairs minister S Jaishankar, and union minister of state Rajiv Chandrasekhar will also be present along with PM Modi.
India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) is expected to get a new impetus during his visit. Apart from this, inauguration and foundation-laying programmes are likely to be on the PM's agenda. Preparations for his visit to Gandhinagar have been started.
