An event for semiconductor companies will be held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, from July 28 to 31. Prime minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event on July 28. The theme of the event is ‘Catalysing India’s Semiconductor Ecosystem’. 

The chairperson of top semiconductor companies, including Micron, Foxconn, AMD, and Intel, will engage in a discussion with the PM. Moreover, science and technology officials and CEOs of semiconductor companies will discuss Gujarat's ecosystem, utilities, and the benefits of starting production in Gujarat. 

The PM’s Gujarat visit will also include inaugurating the newly-built Hirasar greenfield airport at Rajkot on July 27, along with the unveiling of many projects in Saurashtra.
