Prime minister Narendra Modi reached Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar to inaugurate the Semicon India Conference 2023 today. PM reviewed the exhibition of various semicon companies.

Prime minister Narendra Modi will launch various projects worth ₹2,033 cr in Rajkot today. This includes various development works, including Rajkot International Airport built near Hirasar, packages eight and nine of link-3 of the Souni irrigation scheme, and Saurashtra’s first multilevel overbridge in Rajkot.

The overall schedule

PM Modi will land at Rajkot International Airport in the afternoon. Then he will inaugurate the Airport, built at a cost of ₹1,405 cr from the terminal building. Later, he will address a public meeting at the Race Course in Rajkot. 

The Sauni Yojana programme, worth ₹394 cr, as well as Saurashtra's first multi-level flyover bridge built over KKV chowk at a cost of ₹129.53 cr will be inaugurated by the prime minister.

Moreover, ₹41.71 cr worth of water pipelines of 1,219 mm diameter, from Nyari dam to Raiyadhar filter plant, a water treatment plant completed at the cost of ₹29.73 cr at Raiyadhar ward-1, a sewage treatment plant of 15 megalitres per day (MLD) capacity, and a library constructed at a cost ₹8.39 cr near Govind Bagh in ward-6 will be inaugurated.

Chief minister Bhupendra Patel, union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, union minister of state for civil aviation Dr VK Singh, BJP state president CR Patil, and industries minister Balwantsinh Rajput will be present at Rajkot.

PM Modi will leave for Gandhinagar to inaugurate the Semicon India conference on July 28.
