PM Modi inaugurates 103 redeveloped Amrit Stations, including 18 in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 103 redeveloped Amrit Railway Stations across 86 districts in 18 states and union territories from Bikaner, Rajasthan today. After visiting the Karni Mata Temple, Rajasthan PM Modi launched these stations, developed at a total cost of ₹26,000 crore.
In Gujarat, the upgraded stations include– Samakhiali, Morbi, Hapa, Jamnagar Vanthali, Kanalus, Okha, Mithapur, Rajula, Sihor, Palitana, Mahuva, Jamnagar Jodhpur, Limbdi, Derol, Karamsad, Utran, Kosamba, and Dakor.
Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the Ministry of Railways aims to convert these into integrated transport hubs. Today’s inauguration is part of this mission.
He also inaugurated 102 redeveloped railway stations across 86 districts in 18 states and Union Territories under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at a cost of approximately ₹1,100 crore.Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister also offered prayers at the sacred Karni Mata Temple, followed by a visit to the newly redeveloped Deshnoke railway station.
This station is one of the 103 stations revamped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
