Parts of Gujarat to receive rainfall this week, no relief from high temperatures for Amdavadis

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted no major changes in temperature for Gujarat this week.
However, while some districts are expected to receive light rainfall, others are likely to remain dry. The monsoon is predicted to arrive in Gujarat by June 11.
Light Rainfall
Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar are likely to experience light to moderate rain or even thundershowers at a few places.
Parts of Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, as well as the Union Territories of Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall.
Districts like Surendranagar, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad, and Diu may witness isolated light to moderate rain or thundershowers.
Other parts of Gujarat are likely to experience dry weather during this period
Ahmedabad weather
In Ahmedabad, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are anticipated at isolated places this week. However, the city is expected to continue experiencing high temperatures, with maximums around 39.4°C and minimums near 28°C. No significant change in maximum temperatures is predicted over the next seven days
While the southwest monsoon had an early onset, its advancement has currently stalled. The IMD forecasts that monsoon activity will resume and strengthen around June 11, potentially bringing more widespread rainfall to Gujarat thereafter.
