Paper leak, unfair means at HNGU: College students allegedly use phones during exams
Amid rising cases of paper leaks and the use of unfair means in examinations, a college under Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) has come under scrutiny after Yuvrajsinh Jadeja alleged that question papers were being leaked online and students were allowed to use mobile phones during exams.
Jadeja claimed to possess 24 videos in which administrators of the institution are seen distributing answer materials to students during the examination. He also alleged that the question papers were leaked via WhatsApp.
“In the Experimental College of Education under HNGU, administrators were handing out answer copies while students used AI—Artificial Intelligence—on their phones to solve questions,” Jadeja claimed.
He alleged that this malpractice was taking place under the supervision of individuals named Ashwin Patel and Sanjay Patel.
Jadeja further alleged that the HNGU administration is aware of these malpractices but turns a blind eye, stating, “Many colleges are being run in violation of UGC regulations.”
He has demanded police action against the college and called for the release of its CCTV footage to the public.
Notably, in February, the NSUI alleged that the B.Com (English Medium) Semester-1 accounts paper had been leaked at Gujarat University.
