Padra deputy mamlatdar apprehended for drunk driving

The deputy mamlatdar of Padra, Naresh Vankar, was apprehended by the Vadodara police for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. The incident took place near the Jetalpur bridge.

Vankar was driving on the Jetalpur Road in Vadodara when his car got stuck in a ditch. Reportedly, after some time, he also passed out in the car and after half an hour, the locals who witnessed the accident alerted the police.

The police arrived at the scene and found Vankar unconscious in the car. They immediately took him to the police station.

Upon inspecting the vehicle, the police found an Executive Magistrate nameplate inside. Further investigation revealed that the driver was the deputy mamlatdar of Padra.

Vankar regained consciousness at the police station. He was taken for a medical examination and was later released on bail.
