Over 20 trains moved to other stations amid Kalupur station redevelopment in Ahmedabad

Amid the ongoing redevelopment work at Ahmedabad's Kalupur railway station, over 20 trains will skip the under construction station and will stop at Maninagar, Vatva, and Asarwa railway stations between July 5 and September 12.

The railways launched redevelopment of the station in November 2024. As the project is in its third phase, the piling work related to the construction of an overbridge and concourse at platforms number 8 and 9 is underway.

Seventeen trains have been diverted to Sabarmati Railway Station, two to Maninagar, and one each to Vatva and Asarwa.
