Online gaming love trap: Surat Girl allegedly exploited, accused arrested after pregnancy complaint

 A girl from Surat’s Puna area was left helpless by a man she befriended while playing online games.

The girl  met a young man named Hisham Munir, a native of Keralam, while playing online games ‘Free Fire’ and ‘PUBG’. While playing the online games, the conversations shifted from friendship to love between the two. The young man made a fake promise to marry her.

After forming a relationship, the girl went on to stay in a PG in Keralam. During this time, the accused lured her to marry him and repeatedly had physical relations with her, leading to pregnancy. And as soon as the girl talked about being pregnant and getting married, the accused fled, leaving her in a helpless condition.

This led her to come back to Surat and then file a complaint against the accused at the Puna police station. The police immediately started the investigation.

Based on the girl's complaint, the police arrested Hisham Munir and have initiated legal action against him.
