One dead in accident near Sardar Bridge in Ahmedabad

A tragic accident near Sardar Bridge on the Riverfront East road claimed the life of a biker on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Alpeshkumar Madhvi, a resident of the Kankaria Municipal Officer Flats.

According to police sources, Alpeshkumar was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into a divider and an electric pole. The impact of the collision caused severe head injuries, leading to his death at the scene.

A pillion rider, Prakashbhai Parmar, sustained minor injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment. The Traffic 'B' divison police have launched an investigation into the accident and are carrying out further enquiries.
