One critical after speeding truck collides with another truck on Bagodara-Ahmedabad Highway

An accident occurred when two trucks collided after a speeding truck en route to Rajkot lost control on the Bagodara-Ahmedabad highway near Rohika Patiya on Saturday around 10 pm.

The driver was identified as Dayalsingh Vasakre from Madhya Pradesh, who lost control of his truck, leading to the collision of the two trucks.

The accident caused a long traffic jam on the Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway.

Emergency services, along with the police team, swiftly reached the spot after the accident occurred.

In the accident, one driver sustained critical injuries, while four others received minor injuries.

The Dholka fire brigade was called for the rescue operation, and Ahmedabad Rural Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat mobilised officers from the district traffic unit, Bavla, and Koth police stations to assist in the operation.

After the emergency services arrived, the road was cleared later at night, and traffic flow was restored.
