NSUI claims Ahmedabad’s Asian Global School charges 50% more fees than permitted by FRC

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Tuesday has alleged that Ahmedabad’s Asian Global School, located in Chandkheda, has been collecting fees beyond the limit set by the Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) and putting undue pressure on parents.
Ahmedabad City NSUI president Tilakram Tiwari submitted a memorandum with evidence to the district education officer against the management of Asian Global School, claiming the school has been charging ₹31,000 more than the permitted slab of fees.
As per the FRC, the permitted fees for the CBSE school for Class 1 to 8 was ₹61,000 for 2023-24. However, school fee details shared by NSUI shows that the fees for Class 1 to 10 are ₹91,000, excluding conveyance and other expenses.

The article will be updated if there is a response from the school or the DEO.
