During the hearing of a public interest litigation (PIL) in the Gujarat High Court regarding the disappearance of nine individuals, including four from Mehsana district, the court made a remark on who went missing in December 2022 while attempting to travel to the US from Dominica.

The High Court noted that if people have recently been deported to India from the US, then these nine individuals are not among them.

Meanwhile, the petitioner’s side informed the court that there is a possibility of receiving new information regarding the missing individuals within the next two weeks.

The petitioner requested the court to postpone the hearing by two weeks to accommodate the potential new updates. Considering the request, the division bench comprising Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and Justice Pranav Trivedi scheduled the next hearing for March 28.
